Welcome to the Spring issue of the INFORMS Simulation Society Newsletter. After a long winter, spring is finally here!

This newsletter celebrates the accomplishments of many people. Richard Nance, Professor Emeritus of Virginia Tech won the Lifetime Professional Achievement Award; Chirstos Alexopoulos, David Goldsman, Philippe Duchon, Philippe Flajolet, Guy Louchard and Gilles Schaeffer won the Outstanding Pulication Award.

I also want to reminder you that the ballots for this year's I-Sim election are included at the end of the newsletter along with brief introductions to all candidates. Please submit your vote by May 31st.

Finally, I would like to thank all the members for your contribution and support for the newsletter. I hope that this newsletter can continue to be a platform for the I-Sim to pass around the information and share their good news and experiences.
